The above photo is of illuminated sakura cherry blossoms along the Kawazu River, located on the east coast of Izu Peninsula in Shizuoka Prefecture. The small town of Kawazu is known for its early blossoming sakura, which usually takes place between early February to early March. It's a great location for those who visit Japan for skiing in February and miss the main sakura season.

Hi <<First Name>>,

As the weather begins to warm in Japan, this can only mean one thing: sakura. Cherry blossoms are beginning to sprout in the southern areas of Japan and are starting to make their way north. This is one of the most famed seasons of Japan, where people from all walks of life come to experience the beauty of nature at its finest (and pinkest).
