Tokyo’s Haneda Airport is located around 15 minutes from downtown Tokyo.

Option 1: Tokyo Monorail

The preferred option for Japan Rail (JR) Pass holders. The Tokyo Monorail provides access from Haneda Airport International Terminal to Hamamatsucho Station in just 13 minutes. The monorail runs every 4 minutes on average. From Hamamatsucho Station, travellers can transfer to the JR Yamanote Line to access other stations on the city circle loop.

Option 2: Keikyu Line

The Keikyu Line connects Haneda Aiport International Terminal station with Shinagawa Station in 11 minutes and Yokohama Station in 23 minutes.

From Shinagawa Station you can connect to the JR Yamanote Line to access other stations on the city circle. Shinagawa Station is also a hub to catch the Tokaido shinkansen (bullet train) down to Kyoto, Osaka and beyond.

As it is a private railway, you can’t use the JR Pass.

Option 4: Airport Limousine Bus

A great option if you want door-to-door transport from the airport to selected hotels in Tokyo and to areas such as Chiba, Saitama, Gunma, Tochigi and Ibaraki. Travel times can be affected by heavy traffic.
