2014 was a fantastic year for Japan tourism. On 22nd December, Japan welcomed its 13 millionth visitor, the highest ever recorded and a ceremony was held at Narita Airport to commemorate this momentous occasion.

Wholesaler update  Upcoming Events JR Travel Service Center opens at Shinjuku Station
JR Shinjuku Station In response to the increase in inbound tourists to Japan, East Japan Railway Company has opened a JR Travel Service Center at Shinjuku Station. Visitors can exchange vouchers for their JR Pass, purchase JR East or JR Kanto Area Passes, JR tickets and more. Read more

Odakyu Free Wi-Fi service
Odakyu Free Wi-Fi service From 1st December 2014, the Odakyu Group launched its free Wi-Fi service. Visitors can enjoy free Internet access in the popular Hakone area and Shinjuku Station and on the Limited Express “Romancecar” trains, which conveniently connect the two areas. Read more
JR East Japan Product Updates for 2015
Narita Express (N'EX) Train From 14th March 2015, the "N'EX TOKYO Round Trip Ticket", a discounted round-trip ticket between Narita Airport Terminals 1 & 2 and designated stations in Tokyo will go on sale. This product will replace the existing "N'EX TOKYO Direct Ticket (One-way)". Read more

Hokuriku Shinkansen opens March 2015
Kanazawa - Higashi-chaya district A new addition will join the line-up of world-renowned Shinkansen (bullet-trains). The Hokuriku Shinkansen that connects Tokyo, Toyama and Kanazawa will open on March 14, 2015. Access from the Tokyo Metropolitan area will become much more convenient. Read more
