It's already March, which means the cherry blossom or sakura season for most of Japan is just around the corner. As always, thousands of Australian tourists will flock to Japan to admire these iconic spring blooms.

Golden Week
Golden Week refers to a string of four public holidays in Japan from 29th April to 5th May and adjacent weekends. As many offices close for about a week or more, it is one of the peak seasons for domestic travel. Expect trains, airports and tourist attractions to be more crowded than usual.
